Questions about OpenConnector

What is OpenConnector?

OpenConnector by OOMOL is an open-source gateway between AI agents and app APIs. It manages account connections and exposes inspectable Actions through SDK, CLI, MCP and HTTP.

About the project →

Can I use it without OOMOL hosting?

Yes. Run the open-source runtime on your infrastructure and configure your own credentials and OAuth apps. OOMOL hosting is an optional way to use supported managed OAuth and a hosted runtime.

Self-host OpenConnector with Docker →

Is every catalog Action verified?

A catalog definition, a local executor and a successful upstream API call are different levels of evidence. Check the relevant Action, source revision and verification notes before relying on it.

Verification →

Can I switch runtimes by changing only a URL?

Provider IDs, Action IDs and schemas are shared where supported, but runtime tokens, account connections, OAuth configuration and client setup depend on the deployment. Follow the setup guide for the runtime you choose.
